FOSS Insights
Insights is a K-6 curriculum consisting of 17 modules, each designed as a core curriculum that can be extended or expanded to the needs of a particular school. The modules are designed to represent a balance of life, earth, and physical sciences to provide experience and understanding of the six major science themes: systems, change, structure and function, diversity, cause and effect, and energy.
The Institute is attracted to these modules because they provide developmentally appropriate content directly relevant to children’s environment, experiences, and interests. Insights kits are of particular interest to small public schools, charter schools, and home schools. The Institute can provide training and support for any Insights modules and offers the following modules from our own warehouse:
