Curriculum Resources 
FOSS STC
STC (Science and Technology for Children) is designed as a complete science program for children in grades 1-6. However, teachers also find that using particular kits can be enhancing for specific units they are teaching. The National Science Resources Center, operated by the Smithsonian Institution and the National Academy of Sciences, created these nationally field-tested units as a method to improve science education. Thus, it is assured that all STC units are scientifically accurate and pedagogically appropriate for children.
The Institute offers STC kits and training for teachers in making the best use of the units. CAIMS offers the following STC materials that motivate young students:
