Description: Are you a middle school teacher interested in learning more creative strategies for implementin problem solving in your mathematics curriculum? If so, join us for this innovative session that will provide you with strategies to take back and implement in your classroom. We will discuss the latest research regarding best practices in teaching problem solving, engage in problem-solving activities using various heuristics, create problem-solving activities from basic textbook problems, and review assessments and rubrics for problem-solving activities.
